Sergei Rassolko

Sergei Rassolko is an Épée fencing coach, registered with USA Fencing.

He is an Olympian and a second-generation fencing coach, hailing from a prominent fencing dynasty.

As a competitor, Sergei had an exceptional athletic career. He finished the 1999 World Cup season in second place with the Belarus epee team at the World Cup in Vercelli, Italy. In the same year, at the World Championships in Seoul, South Korea, Sergei placed 7th as a part of the Belarus National Team. This result earned him the Olympic qualification for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, where his team placed 6th overall.

Sergei graduates the Belarus State Academy of Physical Education and Sport, where he earned multiple diplomas, including a bachelor’s degree in Fencing Coaching and Physical Education. He is also a Master of Sport of the International Level in fencing.

Sergei started coaching career serving as the Head Coach of the Taiwan National Epee Fencing Team. Under his guidance, his student, R.T. Hsu, won both the Cadet and Junior Asian Champion titles in 2007.

Sergei continued his coaching career in Europe at one of the continent’s most prestigious clubs, Heidenheim HSB in Germany. Over the course of a few years, his students achieved national and continental titles, demonstrating his ability to cultivate elite fencers.

After moving to Munich, Germany, he assumed the role of Bavarian Head Coach. His coaching led to his students winning the Bavarian Championship and becoming prizewinners in international competitions.

Sergei became the Head Coach of Osnabrück OSC and Head Coach of Lower Saxony. Under his leadership, his athletes secured the Lower Saxony Championship and earned national recognition through podium finishes in national competitions over the next three years.

After relocating to the United States, coach Sergei took on the role of the Head Coach at North Shore Fencers Club in New York. His students went on to become medalists at regional tournaments.

Sergei further expanded his coaching career by working at the Olympia Fencing Center in Boston, MA. Later that same year, he moved to California and joined the Academy of Fencing Masters as a fencing coach. Under his tutelage, his students won regional titles and earned national medals in various age groups.

Sergei dedicated many years to developing elite athletes across the globe, inspiring the next generation of champions through his exceptional leadership and expertise.
