
Olga Petrova is an Épée coach registered with USA Fencing, MFC co-founder, and CEO.
Her athletic career includes earning a team bronze medal at the 2003 Junior European Championship in Poreč, Croatia, and medaling in multiple cadet and junior World Cups, as well as National Championships.
Olga holds a PhD in Physical Education and Sport, a Master’s degree in Sports Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Fencing Coaching and Physical Education Teaching from the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine. Her academic research, including her dissertation and eight published articles, focuses on coach education and the professional development of sports coaches.
She has taught university-level courses such as Youth Sport, Sport Adaptation, and Athlete Preparation in Olympic and Professional Sports. She also served as a Methodologist at the Coaches’ Training and Skill Improvement Learning Center, specializing in the advancement of coaching methods and practices.
In the United States, Olga has coached at Cardinal Fencing Club and volunteered with the Stanford Varsity Fencing Team. She brings her expertise to various educational settings, having taught fencing in public and private schools in Bay Area.
Under her guidance, many of her students have achieved medals at local, regional, and national competitions.
Olga’s approach blends elite-level experience with academic rigor, making her a respected mentor and leader in the fencing community.
