
Larry Song is a Foil assistant coach, registered with USA Fencing.
He is a distinguished former competitor, having earned multiple medals on the U.S. national circuit and represented the United States internationally on both the cadet and junior World Cups levels.
Among his notable international achievements are a bronze medal at the 2018 Cadet Pan American Championships, a bronze medal at the 2019 CEP Marathon Fleuret, and a top-eight finish at the 2020 San Jose Junior World Cup.
Larry earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego, where he competed as a member of the NCAA Division I Fencing Team. During his collegiate career, he was a two-time NCAA Championship qualifier, a four-time All-Region honoree, and served as team captain, providing instrumental leadership in the team’s competitive success.
Now dedicated to coaching, Larry strives to contribute meaningfully to the fencing community while concurrently pursuing his professional aspirations.
